Data We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your email address, display name, and password (hashed — we never store it in plain text). If you sign up with Apple or Google, we receive only your email and name from those services.
Study Data
We store your flashcard decks, study sessions, progress, streaks, and analytics. This data powers features like spaced repetition scheduling and study reports.
Usage Analytics
We collect anonymous usage data — things like which features are used most, session duration, and crash reports. This helps us improve the app. We don't track you across other apps or websites.
How We Use Your Data

- To generate study analytics and parent reports
- To send you important account notifications
- To fix bugs and improve performance
We never sell your data to third parties. We never use your data for advertising. We never share your study data with schools or employers.
Children's Privacy
We take children's privacy seriously. For users under 13, we recommend a parent or guardian creates and manages the account on their behalf. See our full Children's Privacy page for details.
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely on Supabase infrastructure. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We use industry-standard security practices including regular security audits, access controls, and monitoring.
Your Rights
You can request to export or delete your data at any time. Just email us and we'll handle it promptly. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days.
